IT CASE STUDY 03 / MDM IMPLEMENTATION & ENDPOINT OPERATIONS

Building an MDM environment.
Managing its lifecycle.

I originally set up the organization’s Mosyle Business environment and enrolled its devices. Today, I manage both iPhones and iPads, including new enrollments, removals, MDM push-token renewals, application deployments, and device troubleshooting.

02 / Challenge and contribution

The challenge.

Managed iPhones and iPads needed an MDM platform established from the outset and consistently administered as devices entered and left service. Ongoing enrollment, software distribution, and push-token maintenance all mattered to day-to-day device management.

My contribution.

I personally set up Mosyle Business and enrolled the original device fleet. I now administer both iPhone and iPad devices, including new enrollments, device removals, and renewal of expired MDM push tokens. I also deploy business applications and troubleshoot mobile and Windows endpoint issues.

03 / Documented work

From initial deployment
to everyday management.

Example 01Implemented

Original MDM implementation

My work. Established the organization's Mosyle Business management environment and personally enrolled the original devices.

Recorded outcome. The managed-device environment was established and the original fleet was enrolled; I continue to manage both iPhones and iPads.

Example 02Ongoing

Full device lifecycle administration

My work. Continue to enroll and remove iPhones and iPads as devices enter or leave the managed fleet.

Recorded outcome. Device membership and enrollment status are maintained as devices are added or retired.

Example 03Ongoing

MDM push-token maintenance

My work. Monitor and renew MDM push tokens when they expire as part of maintaining device-management connectivity.

Recorded outcome. Expired push tokens are updated when required; no automatic renewal or zero-downtime claim is made.

Example 04Completed

Field application distribution

My work. Obtained additional application licenses and deployed field software to managed iPhones through Mosyle.

Recorded outcome. The targeted mobile-app distribution was recorded as completed.

Example 05Completed

Windows endpoint patch-management deployment

My work. Coordinated remediation of a conflicting prerequisite and deployed ManageEngine Endpoint software to targeted office workstations, establishing tooling for centralized security patching and software updates.

Recorded outcome. The targeted deployment was completed; patch installation counts and compliance results are not claimed.

Example 06Resolved

Mobile photo compatibility repair

My work. Investigated image format behavior, changed iPhone camera compatibility settings, updated devices, and retested uploads in a field-service application.

Recorded outcome. Uploads were tested successfully on affected devices.

Example 07Rolled out / Oct 16

Active-workstation security patch rollout

My work. Rolled out missing security patches across active workstations on October 16 as part of broader workstation maintenance and infrastructure hardening.

Recorded outcome. Patch deployment was undertaken, following an earlier deployment of endpoint patch-management tools. Per-device success counts, outstanding updates and final compliance rates were not supplied. See the related infrastructure modernization case study ↗

What the evidence supports

The initial MDM setup, original fleet enrollment, and ongoing iPhone and iPad device lifecycle administration reflect my direct responsibilities. Specific endpoint fixes are reported individually. The October 16 missing-patch rollout is documented as an action, not as a verified 100% compliance result; device uptime and measured performance gains are not claimed.

Content is generalized from recorded support work. No employee names, accounts, customer records or internal infrastructure details are displayed.
